SANSKRIT

  •  Sanskrit is ancient Indian language with a 3,500-year history. 


  •  It is known to be the mother of all languages of the world. Nearly(97%) of all languages have been directly or indirectly influenced by  Sanskrit.


  •  The word “Sanskrit’ is a combination of two words – “Sanskar’ and “Krit’; “Krit’ meaning “Inculcating’ and “Sanskar’ meaning “Essence of Moral Values’. Thus Sanskrit means a language that has the capacity to indoctrinate higher values in an individual.

 

  • The Indian state of Uttarakhand uses Sanskrit as their official language. 


  • Because of global influence of Ayurveda and Yoga, a lot of people as well as Westerners are keen to learn Sanskrit. 


Language Proficiency : 

Beginner

This level recognizes basic knowledge of the candidate. At this stage, the learner can understand and involve in basic conversation, and use everyday expressions. He/She can frame sentences, get familiarize with the common greetings and objects from the surroundings in foreign settings. 

Elementary

This level recognizes the linguistic competency of the candidate.At this stage, the learner will learn common phrases, grammar and sentence structures. The candidate will be able to write short passages and will be trained to engage in detailed conversation on various topics. 

Intermediate

At this level, the candidate becomes more confident with the language. The ability to responds to questions and requests will develop and the candidate will find it easy to practice same with peers.He/she can hold a conversation and give their opinion on topic. The candidate is also capable of understanding and using complex sentences and structure. 

Advance

At this level, the candidate has a degree of fluency and spontaneity in regular conversation. He/she is well versed with reading text and writing paragraphs in chosen language.The candidate also develop the ability of correcting his/her own mistakes.   At this level, we can safely say that the candidate is well versed with the language and is ready to fly from our nest towards global opportunities.
